Why Do You Need A Savior?
Some people say they will go to Heaven because they are a good person. Other people may acknowledge that they have done, and still are doing, bad things and claim that they will most likely go to Hell. There are also people that think that they are too old to change, and that it may be to late for them. They’re set in their ways and claim that nobody can make them change. These people are deceiving themselves. A person does not get to Heaven because they are a good person, or to Hell because they have done and are still doing bad things. For the people that choose not to go to Heaven because they don’t want to feel forced to change their ways, guess what?
You do not have to change unless you want too.
There is only one way to enter into Heaven, and that way is to repent from your sins, believe that Jesus died and is resurrected, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9,10 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved.
John 14:6 says, “Jesus answered him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except by me.'” The truth is, we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23). According to Ephesians 1:5, “God had already decided that through Jesus Christ, He would make us His sons and daughters.” This was His pleasure and purpose. Again, in Ephesians 2:8,9, “For by grace are you saved through faith, and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
